Czech MMA fighter David Hosek will next fight at RFA 12 in Považská Bystrica, where he will be challenged by Slovak Michal Glos. But Hosek is looking beyond that and thinking about what will happen after his eventual victory. He is scheduled to fight champion Dominik Humburger.

Hošek will join the RFA organization after a long break. Last time out, he was no match for Serbia’s Avramovic, who controlled him on the ground for most of the fight and reliably cruised to a points triumph.

Hosek bounced back to fight two matches in the IAF and also made an appearance at KSW 79 in Liberec. He has a 1-1 record in the RFA and is one of the few top middleweight fighters Humburger has not faced.

Hosek believes he knows the right recipe for an undefeated champion. “He’s doing well right now. He’s winning, he’s doing well, he’s in shape and it shows. Anyway, everybody loses sometimes and that will happen in the fight with me,” said the Renegade Prague Gym representative with a smile on his face.

Humburger vs. Hošek has been talked about several times, but the champion is rather skeptical and thinks that Hošek should get one more win.

David decided to respond to that. “Well, Dominic. I don’t know if you wanted to be funny or what’s wrong with you, but I don’t care. I’ll beat Glos and then we’ll go against each other,” said a determined Hosek.

However, it is Glos who may yet throw a pitchfork into their potential fight, as he is due to face him in two weeks’ time.

We can also look forward to Sebastian Faps or Milan Datelinka at the RFA 12 tournament. The tournament takes place on September 9 and you will be able to watch it via the organization’s PPV.
