Has Chelsea finally found a new Drogba? Jackson has the potential to become one of the best strikers in history, Pochettino is clear
Nicolas Jackson has been slow to get going at Chelsea, scoring a goal in his third league game for Luton to seal the Blues’ first win of the season. Mauricio Pochettino certainly didn’t spare any praise for the talented striker after the game.
Nicolas Jackson has been slow to get going at Chelsea, scoring a goal in his third league game for Luton to seal the Blues’ first win of the season. Mauricio Pochettino certainly didn’t spare any praise for the talented striker after the game.
After two games, Chelsea finally got a win in the new league season, against one of the weakest teams. However, it is certainly an important three points for coach Pochettino’s team, which will encourage everyone at the club.
The first victory was secured mainly by two players. The new face of the Blues, Malo Gusto, and Raheem Sterling, who managed to turn both of his teammate’s passes into goals. The aforementioned Jackson then sealed the match 3-0 in the 75th minute.
Apart from Sterling, however, you would be looking for a better player on the pitch than the Senegalese striker, whose movement and ability gives Blues fans hope that they will once again have a striker capable of scoring goals.
” He has the potential to become one of the best strikers in history!”
The 22-year-old needs more time. But he should get that in a London side that has been experiencing a big earthquake in the line-up recently, with a team full of young and great talent.
Therefore, it can be reckoned that Jackson’s first league strike into the Luton net was far from the last and we will see a few more this season.
The next chance will come on August 30 when Chelsea face AFC Wimbledon in the cup, after which they will welcome Nottingham Forest on September 2.
