Football Příbram faces criticism! How does the public react to the video about women’s football?
The marketing department of the football club Příbram has chosen some interesting questions for its players! On the one hand, this move was successful because it attracted a lot of attention to the club. On the other hand, quite negative. Some of the players chose rather unfashionable and inappropriate remarks to address the female footballers and this unleashed a wave of discontent.

Příbram is in the second highest league in a shameful 13th place and is realistically fighting for salvation. Until recently, the league team was basically playing for its neck. A semi-professional third league would certainly be too damn little for the club.
Anyway, the media doesn’t pay much attention to the Central Bohemian club and leaves its performance alone. Maybe that’s why the marketing team of Pribram decided to attract the attention of the football public in a slightly different way.
Questions and answers on various topics were to be the key to the attention. One topic was about the opinion on women’s football and here Příbram got a moment of “fame” again. So the attention the second league club got, but it was mostly pretty negative attention. You can see the answers of Pribram footballers for yourself.
The public reaction
“Pribram football – 13th place in the second league. Příbram PR – stone age, congratulations,” wrote Adam Nenadál.
Jakub Podaný, an expert of O2 TV Sport and former league footballer, also made a comment supported by the video.
“I just stepped away from the frying pan for a moment,” tweeted Slavija footballer Blanka Pěničková, who added a photo from the football lawn.
Kateřina Bužková, a player of Sparta and the national football team, also commented
“Hey, guys, do you mind that the guys from Pribram play football? Can you stand to watch it?” wrote seasoned journalist Filip Horky on Twitter.
“The boys in Pribram are really doing everything to make sure nobody likes them. This video is just out of line. What did the author expect? Half of the country would applaud them for saying things like “women should do something different” or “they should probably do more fencing”?! ” one football fan perceived the case.
