EURO full of records. Both Ronaldo and Schick made it into the historical statistics

We may only be through the group stage of this year’s Euros, but we have already seen several historic records broken. For example, the star Cristiano Ronaldo, but also the Czech representative Patrik Schick have entered the historical statistics.

Czech striker Patrik Schick was a sensation in the match against Scotland. He scored a fantastic goal from 45 metres, which is also the highest distance goal in the history of European championships.

The star Cristiano Ronaldo also added another record at the Euros. With his five goals, he broke Michel Platini’s record and became the all-time top scorer at the European Championships.

The record of the youngest ever player was also interesting. Before the start of the Euros, it was held by Dutchman Jetro Willems.

However, at the start of this year’s European Championships he was replaced by Jude Bellingham, who made his debut at the age of 17 years and 349 days, but did not hold the record for long. A few days later he was surpassed by Poland’s Kacper Kozlowski, who started at the age of 17 years and 246 days.

Kozlowski is the current record holder for the youngest player to ever start a Euro match.

The unwanted record was taken care of by the Slovaks and the Portuguese. They scored two own goals in one match. Slovakia in a 0:5 defeat to Spain, Portugal in a 2:4 loss to Germany.

The Italian national team also had a respectable record. The team has probably been the most successful at the Euro so far and coach Roberto Mancini is not afraid to rotate the roster. Italy has rotated a total of 25 players in the three group games played, so everyone on the roster except for the third goalkeeper has taken the field.

And the last record was set by Denmark. They are the first team to qualify for the play-offs, despite losing their opening two games.
