England solves a big problem before the match with Czech Republic!
The English are solving a big problem! Two players will be isolated in their camp and will probably not start the match against the Czech Republic! They are the pair of Mason Mount and Ben Chilwell.
How did this happen? In the 0-0 draw with Scotland, both players were photographed with their Chelsea teammate Billy Gilmour. The 20-year-old Scot later tested positive for Covid-19.
As a result, the Chelsea England number two remains isolated and is unlikely to start the last match of the group stage against the Czech Republic. Would this loss weaken England significantly?
Yes, it is certainly a minor psychological wound that may have scared the player, yes especially Mount who is a very high quality player who made two starts in the starting line-up at the Euros.
However, Gareth Southgate has such a quality squad that this loss should not diminish England’s strength. In the meantime, however, it is 100% certain that whatever the outcome of the match, both teams will finish in the top 16 teams of the tournament.
Ahead of the Wembley game, the dice are rolled as follows. France, Germany, Portugal, Hungary – the match will be played in Seville.
The second team of our group will go to the winner of the group: Spain, Sweden, Slovakia, Poland – the match will be played in Copenhagen. The third team of our group will play the semi-final match in Budapest against the Netherlands or Belgium.
