Earthquake at Inter Milan, 8 players are to leave the club! Who is involved and who else is being linked with a departure?

Eight players will not continue to play for Inter Milan in the upcoming season. This selection includes, for example, one of Inter’s biggest stars Alexis Sánchez or Ivan Perisic, who is heading to Tottenham. Who else will no longer defend the colours of the Nerazzurri?

As previously reported, Inter Milan’s management no longer counts on Croatian Perisic to play in the English Premier League, having accepted Tottenham’s contract offer. The thirty-three-year-old international has signed a two-year contract in the Spurs organization.

According to Italian newspaper Gazzetta dello Sport and Sempre Inter, the Nerazzurri will not extend Sánchez’s contract either. Paulo Dybala could replace him at Inter. It is already clear that the Argentine star will not continue at Juventus and the Inter management is very interested in him.

Goalkeeper Ionut Radu will not get a new contract either. The Romanian goalkeeper has only featured in a single competitive match against Bologna in the 2021/22 season, and even that one match was enough for Radu to make a huge mistake that significantly shook the club’s title ambitions.

Other names on the list are defenders Andrea Ranocchia and Aleksandar Kolarov. The latter said back in January that he was considering ending his career.

According to the latest information, the Nerazzurri jersey will no longer be worn by Arturo Vidal or Matías Vecino, while Felipe Caicedo returns to Genoa after a loan spell.

However, the list of potential departures is far from ending with these players. Inter’s lost battle for the title has obviously taken a hit, the question is whether Milan really need the kind of revolution that the Italian media is currently writing about.

Stefan de Vrij has been linked with strong interest from Manchester United, while Roberto Gagliardini and Joaquin Correa could also reportedly leave the club. Milan Škriniar and Denzel Dumfries are also on the impossibly long list of possible departures.

Of course, the club is currently in negotiations with several players to sign new contracts. However, it is very likely that Inter’s lineup will be quite transformed next season.
