Čvančara’s start in danger! Former Sparta striker has a thigh injury, Gladbach coach speaks about his condition

Borussia Mönchengladbach drew 3-3 at Darmstadt on Sunday in the fourth round of the Bundesliga, with Tomas Čvančara scoring the equaliser.
He was one of the best players on the pitch again for the 14th team in the German top flight, although it was also an unlucky match for him.
First, Čvančara secured a penalty, but then he did not convert it himself. However, he was unluckily fouled by an opponent on his injured ankle, which is why he did not start the match against Darmstadt.
A day later, it was also revealed that Čvančara also injured his thigh muscle and it is questionable whether the Czech forward will be able to play against Leipzig on Saturday.
“There is still some hope that it (thigh injury) could heal by Saturday. But he’s been out for a few days. We’ll have to wait and see, it’s going to be tight,” Gladbach coach Gerardo Seoane said.
Čvančara’s performance so far, Gladbach only 14th
Čančara added his third Bundesliga goal against Darmstadt, scoring in two league games so far. The first one ended 4:4 (Augsburg), now he saved a 3:3 draw.
However, Borussia have not made an ideal start to the new Bundesliga season, as they are only in 14th place after four games with two points.
