English week in Saudi Arabia too! Al Nassr has a crazy busy schedule ahead. Virtually every three days until the first week of October, he will have a match to play and three competitions to fight for his next win.

After a botched start in the Saudi Pro League, Al Nassr is finally breathing a sigh of relief after winning his last four league matches. A huge part of those wins has been due to a star-studded attack that has Cristiano Ronaldo and Sadio Mané on a rampage.

After all, in these matches, the aforementioned duo have had a hand in a respectable thirteen of the seventeen goals scored. But now they have a really tough schedule ahead of them, as after Saturday’s league match, they will be fighting in the Asian Champions League group stages on Tuesday.

Al Nassr has already flown to Iran where they will face the local champions Persepolis. The star-studded team, led by the Portuguese cannonballer, will naturally create a buzz wherever they go. But few people expected this.

Cistiano Ronaldo has literally sent Iranian fans into a frenzy

Already the arrival of the club bus from the airport to the hotel was accompanied by thousands of eager fans who wanted to see the star Ronaldo for themselves. They were in tears after the Portuguese climbed off the bus. A dream come true for many fans.

The movie-like scenes then continued outside the hotel where more than three thousand fans chanted. Hundreds then stormed the hotel chanting the Portuguese star’s name. With their mobile phones in their hands, they wanted to see their idol at least for a moment.

The chanting crowd of Iranian fans even forced Al Nassr to take a drastic step. He cancelled today’s training session because of concerns for the safety of his players.

Ronaldo has stirred up a real mania in Iran and it will be interesting to see what kind of atmosphere will prevail during tomorrow’s contest. Will the Portuguese cannonballer show some of his shooting skills?
