Antonio Conte won the league title with Inter Milan last season, yet he is finished on the bench of the Italian giant. He has been out of contract since then. But that could soon change. A return to London is on the cards.

With Inter Milan, Antonio Conte won the league title, however, this was followed by the sale of some stars and also his end as head coach. He has publicly refused to specify the reason for his end.

However, by all accounts it was supposed to be a transfer policy. After all, it wouldn’t be the first time an Italian strategist failed to come to an agreement with the management of the club he was leading.

After his time at Inter, the former Juventus, Chelsea and Italian national team coach was linked with several clubs. There was talk of interest from Real Madrid or Tottenham, but he did not sign for either club.

So he is still without a contract now, but that could change soon. Conte could return to England, again to London. He would just belong to the red instead of the blue.

Arsenal are having a bad start to the season. It’s in the relegation zone. Coach Mikel Arteta is picking up one negative record after another. His position is therefore in doubt. The main candidate to replace him is Conte.

But as already mentioned, Conte does not always have a good relationship with his superiors. In particular, he has high demands for reinforcements. He might not be able to do that at Arsenal.

However, the Italian coach says he likes a challenge and has already accepted a few. Will the Gunners be his next challenge?
