Clash of the Stars: a show of great bizarro, but also a great show full of great performances

The Clash of the Stars organisation has once again confirmed that it is a force to be reckoned with. It just needs to be taken with a grain of salt, as it is often a show of bizarro. But if you rise above that and have at least a basic knowledge of the influencer scene, you will definitely enjoy its matches.

The Clash of the Stars organization has once again confirmed that it is a force to be reckoned with. It just needs to be taken with a grain of salt, as it is often a show of bizarro. But if you rise above that and have at least a basic knowledge of the influencer scene, you will definitely enjoy its matches.

The first two tournaments have already shown that the third one is going to be a great show. The Queen’s Hall was sold out for weeks before the show and it is almost certain that the organization will start selling out bigger halls and next year it will even reach the O2 arena.

The organization is often criticized by die-hard combat sports fans, who are upset that it is degrading the sport. However, this is not the case, after all, there are also, for example, celebrity football matches and football fans do not mind that either.

You just have to get used to it and not degrade Clash of the Stars on principle. If you watch the tournament, you won’t get bored. There was not only bizarro, but also a lot of good matches.

Which matches are worth mentioning? From the point of view of bizarro, definitely the fight between Matouš Kaluba and Jiří “Maxgreen” Janouch. The latter offered complete chaos, the former won, although he admitted that he didn’t really like training.

Just one kick in the stomach and it was done, both fighters’ punches were not well aimed. The 1v2 duel can also be counted as bizarre, when professional Filip Roubíček faced the pair of Daniel Černý and Lukáš Bukovaz.

Roubicek was the favourite, having been given odds of less than 1.10 before the fight, which is also why a huge number of punters put him on the ticket, believing in him after his earlier fine performance. But that was a mistake, though certainly not Roubic’s.

The pair were strong, but not unbeatable. But a huge number of fouls, such as back punches, ground kicks, etc. decided the fight. Unfortunately, the referee did not react to the fouls and the match had to be stopped as it would have been a matter of health.

What good performances did we see? Of the prelims it is worth mentioning Hana Gelnar who beat Tereza Stibalova after a few seconds. She showed that she definitely didn’t slack off in training and hopefully she will show her potential in the next tournaments.

The duel between Ivan “Kid Ajvn” Kloc and Nenad “Neny” Ples was not bad either. Both of them worked hard in training, but Ajvn has been training for a long time and it was evident in his technique and tactics.

If we look at the main card, the duels of Lukáš “Luktuma” Tuma and David “Olchic” Olchava and Jan “Geybn” Havel against Tomas “Dynamo” Krizan. All four of them should definitely try amateur MMA, they showed promising performance.

Krizhan and Tuma, in particular, who celebrated their victory, simply have a knack for combat sports and show that Clash of the Stars is definitely something to watch even if you’re not a fan of influencer fights.

The highlight of the tournament was the fight between Filip Grznar and Ales Bejr. The latter has the nickname Psychopath and tried to stick to it throughout all the interviews and press conferences.

He left the match a loser, but as expected, they ended their “spore” and fell around each other’s shoulders. How much their pre-match spikes were arranged and played out only they know, but this definitely helped the sold out arena and PPV sales as well.
