Chelsea problems continue! How did the star react to a fan’s criticism?
Chelsea are in huge trouble after the departure of owner Roman Abramovich. Although we can find star names on the roster, the team is not doing well at all. After the 4-2 loss to Wolves, Mykhaylo Mudryk was also criticised. The reaction of the Ukrainian international may surprise you.

Mykhaylo Mudryk joined Chelsea in the winter of the 2023 calendar year. The Blues paid Shakhtar Donetsk 70 million euros for him, but the amount can still be increased by bonuses.
Arsenal were also very interested in the Ukrainian winger, but were not willing to agree to these financial demands. That’s also why they finally brought in Leandro Trossard from Brighton, which seems to be a good investment.
Chelsea problems are not over
But back to Mudryk. The 23-year-old footballer has become one of the many expensive reinforcements, mentioning Enzo Fernández, Moises Caicedo and Christopher Nkunku.
The 2022/23 season was expected to be an exception for the Stamford Bridge outfit, but the opposite is true. The arrival of experienced coach Mauricio Pochettino, who has led Tottenham to the Champions League final in the past, didn’t help much either.
If we look at the Premier League table, we find that the west London team is only in eleventh position with 31 points. Moreover, it has a negative score, which has been significantly affected by the last two league matches.
On Sunday, Chelsea failed to beat Wolves, their table neighbours, at home, losing 4-2. Mudryk only took the field in the 72nd minute, scoring an assist on Thiago Silva’s goal from a corner kick.
Despite this, a wave of criticism was heaped on him after the match. “What the f*** is wrong with you? Have you forgotten how to play football? You’re not good enough. Something has to change. Every time you play it seems like we have one less player,” one Blues supporter wrote to Mudryk in a message on social networking site Instagram.
The Ukrainian responded. “Let’s have a one-on-one battle. For £10,000,” the three-goal scorer in the English Premier League tweeted. The fan wrote back saying he would give Mudryk money every time he scores for Chelsea.
Mudryk will have another opportunity to win fans over on Wednesday when the Blues take on Aston Villa in a return leg of the FA Cup semifinal, the club’s oldest competition.
