Chelsea owner Boehly visited the players in the dressing room after the last league game. Nice words were certainly not falling
Frank Lampard, the third coach of this season, has not turned the London club’s terrible season around. He scored his fourth in a row. In addition, new owner Todd Boehly was also involved in the latest league setback against Brighton. He headed straight for the booths and his words were not at all flattering.

In addition, new owner Todd Boehly was also involved in the latest league defeat to Brighton. He headed straight to the booths and his words to the players were not at all complimentary.
There may not be much to be happy about at Stamford Bridge at the moment. Chelsea are having one of their worst seasons ever after some very drastic changes. Up to 11th in the league table, only 1 goal scored during April, last 3 games ending always without a point.
This will not make the fans, coach Lampard, the management team and certainly not the management happy. It has been headed since 31 May last year by American tycoon Todd Boehly, who replaced Roman Abramovich as majority owner. The latter was forced to step down due to recent circumstances.
Although the American buying power has brought a huge flow of funds to London, it is not very noticeable on the current form. Interim manager and club legend Lampard did not take a point again in the last league clash, this time in a duel with Brighton.
That defeat was mirrored by a disillusioned owner Boehly, who headed straight for the booths after the final whistle. Here he did not give a very flattering speech and called his club’s current season “ridiculous” in front of the players.
Nor were the nearly 700 million euros worth of reinforcements the American brought in during the summer and winter transfer period very happy with his remarks.
The information about the owner’s visit to the dressing room quickly surfaced. So it is no wonder that at the last press conference Lampard and some players were bombarded with questions on the subject.
One of them was goalkeeper Kepa Arrizabalaga. He commented on the situation saying. We had a slightly different conversation this time, I won’t say what he told us. But it is common that he comes to us after the games.”
