Chelsea has a new head coach! Tuchel will be replaced by a successful English coach
Thomas Tuchel has been sacked as head coach after his last unsuccessful game on the Chelsea bench. He took the burnout against Dinamo Zagreb in the worst possible way. TheChelsea management did not hesitate and immediately after Tuchel’s dismissal found a replacement at another team in the Premier League.
Chelsea’s next game is fast approaching. On Saturday, they will take on Fulham in a small London derby in the English Premier League. However, they might not be without their manager in this game, even though they lost Thomas Tuchel.
According to SkySports, Chelsea’s management has reached an agreement with English coach Graham Potter, who coaches Brighton. His team is doing very well in the Premier League table, being in fourth place.
The signing of this coach and the payment of his contract at Brighton should happen in the next few days, so there is a chance that he will catch his first game in his new environment this Saturday in the match against Fulham.
Graham Potter has been at Brighton since 2019. He has led Brighton in a very good direction and has made them a competitive team in a short space of time. He finished 15th on arrival, then 16th, but did very well last season, but only finished 9th in the end.
At the moment, the placings look even better. As mentioned, he is in a nice 4th place at the start of the season. No wonder then that Chelsea want to get him.
