Brighton invested in the future when they bought Polish midfielder Kacper Kozlowski for €11 million, signing him until 2026.The 18-year-old talent will have to wait for his debut in England, however, as he will spend the rest of the season on loan at Belgian club Royale Union St-Gilloise.

The big Polish talent, who is adorned with great technique and agility, has been tracked for quite some time. Many of you will have heard of him during the European Championships last year, where he became the youngest player ever to play at the Euros.

He played two games at the European Championships, namely against Spain and Sweden. In total, he has already made six starts in the Polish national jersey, in which he has notched up three assists.

The final passes are what is expected of him. Kozlowski’s big advantage is that he also plays well with his weaker left foot. He is very strong on the ball and given that ability and vision, he is also hard to predict.

The Polish offensive midfielder played great last season already, in which he scored 25 starts, 3 goals and 4 assists. He continues to perform similarly now, having already notched 19 starts, 3 goals and 4 assists this season.

Kozlowski will now look to make an impression in the Belgian league with Royale Union St-Gilloise, who currently lead the Jupiler Pro League by 7 points ahead of Club Brugge.

A lot is expected of the Polish midfielder and Brighton could be the perfect start for him as he definitely has the chops to one day play for a top European club.

The side from the south of England play offensive and attractive football, which will suit Kozlowski. However, the question is whether he will return to Brighton as planned in the summer or stay on loan for some time.

After all, if the Royale Union St-Gilloise team performs as well as it has so far, he will appear in the European Cups next season, which would be another great experience for the Polish midfielder, which he could then capitalise on in the Premier League.
