Bayern coach Tuchel: The title is decided. Congratulations to Bayer Leverkusen. I didn’t feel any team spirit or enthusiasm for the game from the players at all

Bayer Leverkusen hosted Hoffenheim on Saturday and the fans were worried about losing points. In fact, until the 88th minute, her team was losing. But finally got three points after the goals of Andrich and Schick.
The Czech striker reasserted himself late in the game and is finally getting back to his former form. The players then looked forward to the Bayern Munich vs Borussia Dortmund match, which could have brought them closer to the title again.
And that it did. Bayern failed to score at home and the opponent scored two goals. So Bayern’s deficit to Leverkusen is an abysmal 13 points! And that will be hard to make up.
There are only seven games left in the Bundesliga and it is almost unrealistic for Xabi Alonso’s team to let such a lead slip away. Coach Thomas Tuchel has already congratulated Leverkusen.
Tuchel on Leverkusen
“It’s decided. Congratulations to Bayer Leverkusen. I didn’t feel any team spirit or enthusiasm for the game from the players today,” Tuchel told a press conference after the bitter defeat to Dortmund.
“We are really disappointed with what we showed. Obviously the rematch didn’t suit us very well. The fact that Leverkusen scored again at the very end, when it looked like they were finally going to lose, didn’t help us either. I’m no mathematician, but I know that in theory we can still win the title, even if it’s completely unrealistic,” he added.
Bayern only play for one trophy anymore, and that is the Champions League. Winning it would at least partially make amends for a botched season during which fans have labelled Tuchel one of the worst coaches in the club’s history.
