Viktoria Plzeň already know that they will not play European Cups in the spring. This was expected right after the draw due to the tough opponents. However, Viktoria would certainly like to turn the big club for points.
“I think we are well prepared. We tuned up with the win over Ostrava, I hope we will show a better performance than we have shown in the group so far.
I hope that we will beat Inter, finally score points and make the fans a bit happier,” Václav Jemelka, who joined the team from Sigma Olomouc in the summer, told iDNES.
Besides Viktoria fans, the Pilsen players could also please Barcelona fans. If they take points from Inter, the Catalan team will have a chance to advance in the spring.
“We talked with the boys about the fans coming to us on social networks. I hope we can please them and get some good results,” he added.
Inter Milan’s clash with Viktoria Plzen kicks off today at 18:45. If you will not be present at the stadium, you can watch it via Nova Sport 3.
