Barcelona did it. Before the first league game, they registered new reinforcements
Barcelona has wiped out the eyes of all doubters and critics. Even before its first La Liga game, it has managed to register four new signings to help it succeed. Rayo Vallecano can thus look forward to checking out Robert Lewandowski.

The Catalans have been under fire from critics in recent weeks. Much has been made of what they are using to buy new reinforcements at considerable cost. Equally, whether they will even be able to register new players has been a subject of debate.
However, the night before the first league game, Robert Lewandowski, Raphinha, Franck Kessie and Andreas Christensen were added to Barcelona’s list of registered players. Ousmane Dembele was missing from the registration for a while, but he was also registered.
Of the players who should be key for Barcelona, only Jules Kounde, who came from Sevilla for 50 million euros, is missing from the registration. His registration should take place during the new week.
And that it took so long to register the player? “We are working. We are optimistic. The club has signed good players and I’m excited about the transfers,” Xavi’s coach allowed himself to be heard at the press conference.
Barcelona will play their first league game on Saturday night when they welcome Rayo Vallecano at home. They will go into the game as big favourites and will be looking to kick off the new season in full swing.
The Catalans have done well in their preparations. They have not lost once and have beaten teams like Real Madrid, Inter Miami and the New York Red Bulls. In the dress rehearsal, they beat Mexico’s U.N.A.M.
