Banned from playing against the parent team? No! Spartans on loan in Liberec will not be missing in the nomination for the match

In men’s football, especially in the Czech environment, it is common for players to not play against their parent team on loan. In women’s football, however, this is not an unwritten rule and Spartans on loan in Liberec can be nominated for the match.
The third round of the top Czech women’s competition between Slovan Liberec and Sparta Prague will be played at the main stadium of Slovan Liberec U Nisy. And it is in the north of Bohemia that three Spartan women footballers are visiting.
They are Kateřina Bužková, Karolina Křivská and Michaela Harvilová. And this trio can easily intervene in the match, as Sparta has not banned them, as is customary in men’s football.
“We are sending players on loan both to get more minutes for them and because it is good to increase competition in the first league.
That’s why we don’t apply the rule that they are not allowed to play. On the contrary, as a boss I would like them to be visible in the game,” said Sparta women’s manager Hana Výmolová at a press conference.
But it must be added that the comparison with the men is not very appropriate. After all, Sparta will be a big favourite in the match and even the mentioned trio should not change the result.
“Unfortunately, the league is not that balanced and whether we win the title depends on the match with Slavia. But it is good that the league is starting to even out, because it is harder to win the title when you have more room for error,” said Spartan Anna Šubrtová.
