Liverpool definitely have a new coach. According to renowned journalist Fabrizio Romano, the current Feyenoord coach Arne Slot has already signed a new contract, with an official announcement to follow.

One long era is definitely coming to an end. Jürgen Klopp will leave Liverpool after this season and take some time off, the management of the famous English club is also making player changes.

Thiago Alcantara and Joël Matip will leave Anfield at the end of the current season, the second Premier League club confirmed on Friday morning. And there will be an equally important change in the near future, namely in the position of coach.

Speculation about Sloto’s arrival at Liverpool surfaced back in April, after current Sporting Lisbon manager Ruben Amorim turned down a deal at Anfield Road.

Specific information about this contract has not yet been made public by the club. However, in terms of salary, according to Givemesport Slot is reportedly earning around £130k at Feyenoord.

“I believe that Feyenoord will let me go to Liverpool because it would be a huge jump for me,” Slot said earlier, as quoted by ESPN.

“I’m happy at Feyenoord, but it’s clear I would love to go to Liverpool. Now I’m waiting to see if the two clubs can reach an agreement. Now I’m just waiting to see what comes out of it. But I’m sure they will agree in the end. The clubs now have to do their job and I respect that. It will undoubtedly become clear in the coming days,” the Dutch manager added some time ago.

This was undoubtedly one of the most difficult decisions for Liverpool in years. However, the Dutchman is still a young and progressive coach who led Feyenoord to win the championship title and also the domestic cup. He has also regularly competed in European cup competitions.
