Will Nottingham Forest get another signing? According to the latest reports, it looks very promising. The newcomer to the English top flight has reached a verbal agreement with Brazilian Renan Lodi, who is very likely to leave Atlético Madrid.

Unbelievable – this is probably a safe way to interpret Nottigham Forest’s actions in the transfer market, certainly in this summer’s transfer window.

The newcomer to the English Premier League has so far bought 16 players worth a total of 148 million euros and it seems they are not going to stop strengthening. Indeed, Nottingham have already brought in many familiar names over the summer.

Needless to say, for Nottingham, this is probably only good. Whether it’s the Premier League or any other European competition, newcomers often struggle to stay in the league.

So if the club manages to incorporate all the reinforcements into the squad, the newcomer to England’s top competition can expect a lot.

In addition to the names that Nottingham have already brought in, the club is also interested in Atlético’s Lodi and according to respected and trusted journalist Fabrizio Romano, the Forest organisation is very close to a deal.

In this case, it would probably not be a permanent transfer for now, but a loan deal with a subsequent option. However, the amount for this guest appearance would be €5 million with an additional €30 million for a potential later transfer.

Moreover, according to the latest information, the management of the less famous Madrid club is willing to negotiate. The 24-year-old native of the Brazilian city of Serrana has so far featured in 118 competitive games for Atlético, scoring six goals and adding eleven assists.
