Brozovic will not be the first and most likely not the last player to head to the Saudi Arabian top flight.
The likes of Karim Benzema, N’Golo Kanté and Ruben Neves have already left the European football scene with the aim of moving to the Saudi Pro League, and more offers are pouring in. Kalidou Koulibaly’s name has also been added to the list recently.
All of these stars will probably be joined by several other players in the summer transfer window, whereupon one of them will most likely be Inter’s Brozovic very soon.
The 30-year-old Croatian has a contract at Inter until the end of June 2026, while he was still a valid player at the San Siro-based club.
However, Saudi Arabia’s Al-Nassr, where famous Portuguese Cristiano Ronaldo has previously transferred, are offering Brozovic an equally long contract. However, thanks to the great financial possibilities, the Inter midfielder will receive a much bigger salary.
As already reported by trusted journalist Fabrizio Romano, Brozovic has already agreed his transfer, with Al-Nassr offering him €100 million for three years in a complete package, including a signing bonus.
Brozovic at Inter…
From a financial point of view, it is therefore understandable that Brozovic nodded to this lucrative offer and decided to leave Inter after eight and a half years. He is expected to undergo a medical examination on Friday.
The Zagreb native transferred to the Milanese big club in the summer of 2016, from Dinamo for €5 million.
Since then, he has played 330 games in the blue and black jersey, scoring 31 goals and assisting 43 more. With Inter, he has twice rejoiced in winning the Coppa Italia winners’ trophy, and also celebrated the 2020/21 championship title.
