The influx of star footballers to Saudi Arabia is not ending. Al-Nassr is reportedly in talks to bring in a Bayern Munich player to complement Cristiano Ronaldo in attack. The striker’s representatives have reportedly already held initial talks.

The influx of star players to Saudi Arabia continues unabated

They have dominated the transfer summer, yet their assault on the top of world football has not let up. Saudi clubs are constantly surprising with the influx of star players and it is no different for the league’s biggest star team.

It didn’t work out last year, so they are arming themselves massively ahead of the upcoming season. When Al-Nassr featured Cristiano Ronaldo during last season, they proclaimed a clear assault on winning the Saudi Pro League.

In the end, the team around the Portuguese star fought until the last rounds, but fell five points short of the championship title. Then, when the officials announced that more star footballers would follow, they certainly meant it.

Recently, the arrivals of Marcel Brozovic from Inter Milan and Seko Fofana from Lens were announced. Moreover, in the last few days, headlines in the world media have been making headlines regarding another massive reinforcement.

Fabrizio Romano came up with the information that Al-Nassr is in a tug-of-war with Aston Villa for winger Moussa Diaby, who at only 24 years old is regularly putting in great performances for Bundesliga side Leverkusen.

In addition, Manchester United’s Brazilian defender Alex Telles, who has returned to the islands from a loan spell at Spanish side Sevilla, is up for signing. Both clubs have more or less agreed on the terms of the transfer and are waiting for the whole operation to be completed.

Al-Nassr wants to bring Bayern’s star reinforcement to Ronaldo’s attack

Anyone who thought that the team strengthening was over three weeks before the start of the league, however, would be sorely mistaken. The Athletic server has come out with the information that Al-Nassr wants to bring another star player from Bayern Munich to Ronaldo’s attack.

This is none other than the Senegalese international Sadio Mane, who has not exactly enjoyed a successful season in the Bundesliga champion’s squad. Mané came to the Bavarian capital as a replacement for the departing Robert Lewandowski, but he has not fulfilled his star potential at Bayern.

Moreover, he was suspended by the club in May for an altercation with teammate Leroy Sane, and so there was loud talk of his departure. The speculation was further fuelled by newly appointed coach Thomas Tuchel.

“Mane is falling short of expectations,” Tuchel told Sport1 ahead of training camp in Portugal. “The competitive situation is extremely high, the starting position for him is not easy. The player knows that too, he knows my opinion and the opinion of the club,” he added.
