Just a few days ago, it looked like the offensive all-rounder from Argentina, Paulo Dybala, would head to rival Inter after his stint at Juventus. But things have changed. Inter have brought back Belgian striker Lukaku from Chelsea and according to the latest reports, they have broken contact with Dybala’s agents.

The Argentine was agreed on terms of a contract extension in Turin, but the club’s management changed their minds about signing him, due to too high costs and erratic performances. He thus parted ways with the Old Lady after 7 seasons.

His agents basically started negotiations with Inter Milan right after the end of the season, who finished just ahead of Juventus Turin in the last two years. But now it looks like the transfer is not yet decided.

Inter have in fact completed the return of Belgian striker Romelu Lukaku, who arrives on loan from Chelsea. His salary will be 8 million euros per year. Italian journalist Gianluca di Marzio came up with the news that Inter have suspended negotiations with Dybala. He is demanding the same salary as Lukaku. The player himself is not sure if the negotiations will start again.

AC Milan are also believed to be interested in Dybala, but no official negotiations are underway. The Argentine could replace Brahim Diaz in the team, whose spring part of the last season didn’t work out completely.

In any case, Dybala would have to accept a lower salary than he originally demanded. But there is also interest in him outside Italy. Spanish Sevilla should offer him €3 million per season, and there has been speculation about Tottenham’s interest.

However, the latter withdrew, as the player preferred to stay in Italy and Inter was supposed to be the ideal destination for him. However, Inter are asking for more time to make a decision and according to TuttoMercattoWeb, Tottenham are now considering signing the 28-year-old striker again.
