A new era awaits Liverpool this summer. Should it be with Klopp or without him?
Liverpool is going through a huge crisis. In the last 5 Premier League games they have recorded 3 defeats, won only once and are languishing in 10th place in the table. A major rebuild must come in the summer, should Jürgen Klopp be there or not?

As recently as last spring, Liverpool were considered one of the best teams in the world. They won the FA Cup and the EFL Cup, were in the final of the Champions League and were also fighting for the Premier League title.
It was on the verge of a unique quadruple, but couldn’t win either of the valuable trophies. Manchester City dominated the English league, while Real Madrid lifted the trophy.
Moreover, in the summer Sadio Mané left for Bayern Munich and thus slowly began Liverpool’s downfall. In the autumn, the Reds started to lose a lot of money, and in the Champions League they were beaten by Napoli and finished second in the group.
Liverpool’s performances have been even worse since they have been playing again after the World Cup. New signing Cody Gakpo has fallen into the Reds misery and is doing absolutely nothing. This is evidenced by the following fact.
The World Cup ended on December 18, the Premier League restarted on December 26, and since then Liverpool’s top scorer has been Leicester defender Wout Faes, who has scored two goals of his own in the return leg. No player has managed to score two goals, not even Salah, Díaz or Nunez.
Unless something miraculously improves, Liverpool are unlikely to play in the Champions League next season, probably not even the Europa League. The team must face a rebuild and a new era, some players have probably served their time and some may need a fresh wind again, like Trent Alexander-Arnold.
So the question is, should Jürgen Klopp be part of this rebuilding process? The German coach ranks among the best in the world and in 7 years has built one of the best teams in the world from a mediocre Liverpool squad.
The Reds will probably be hard pressed to find a better coach on the market than Klopp. But on the other hand, does he still have something to give to the team? Klopp himself admitted a couple of years ago that he sees his end at Liverpool around 2023-24, plus the same thing happened to him at Dortmund after so many years.
He started to struggle with the team, the performances dropped tremendously, as did Borussia in the table to the bottom half. So it was better for both parties to part ways. How will Liverpool sort it out this time?
