More evidence of a toxic relationship? Mbappé wants billions from PSG! The club reportedly owes the French star several salaries

Kylian Mbappé will enter next season in a Real Madrid jersey, having already decided to leave Paris Saint-Germain a long time ago. However, the star footballer is now demanding 100 million euros from the French big club.

PSG have had a relatively successful season. They have regained the Ligue 1 title, won the French Cup and reached the semi-finals of the Champions League. All of this was helped by Kylian Mbappé, who completed his last year at the Parc des Princes.

The star Frenchman is now facing his last days as a Paris Saint-Germain player. The big Ligue 1 club is already logically looking for an adequate replacement, one of whom could be Georgian Khvicha Kvaratskhelia.

In any case, as far as the relationship between Mbappé and PSG is concerned, it has understandably cooled considerably. The 25-year-old international’s contract expires at the end of June this year, after which he will officially become a Real Madrid player.

Now the well-known French newspaper L’Équipe has come out with the information that Mbappé is demanding from the Parisian giant what he is allegedly owed. Namely, the sum of 100 million euros (over two billion crowns).

Or rather, it is the representatives of the player himself who have taken steps to get PSG to pay him the aforementioned amount owed.

Mbappé is demanding payment of his wages

According to the L’Équipe newspaper, Paris Saint-Germain has not paid Mbappé’s wages for April, May and is reportedly not going to pay him in June either. The reigning Ligue 1 champions are also said to owe their former star money and various performance and loyalty bonuses.

Mbappé’s representatives have referred the matter to the LFP and are relying on Article 259 of the Charter of Professional Football. This simply states that “clubs must pay the salaries of contracted players no later than the last day of each month in accordance with the terms of the common law.”
