De Bruyne: At my age, you have to be open to everything. If I’m in Arabia for two years, I’ll make an incredible amount of money
Kevin De Bruyne is still one of the best footballers in the world, but even he is well aware that if he went to Saudi Arabia, he would earn money beyond his wildest dreams. So he admitted that he would be interested in an engagement in that country for the money.

The best offensive midfielder in the world? Belgian magician Kevin De Bruyne would probably win this vote. The thirty-two year old footballer has collected trophy after trophy with Manchester City and is still one of his team’s best players.
However, his contract at City expires in a year and there is already speculation about whether there will be an extension. Certain discussions are supposed to be taking place already, but the Belgian footballer is supposed to be rather reticent in his negotiations.
He knows very well that it is better for him to keep the door open. Clubs from Saudi Arabia pay star players literally royally and De Bruyne would not mind being one of them.
De Bruyne on the future
“At my age you have to be open to everything,” he told Belgian HLN. He subsequently admitted that he would earn a truly incredible amount of money.
“We are talking about huge sums at a time when my career will be coming to an end. If I stay in Arabia for two years, I will earn an incredible amount of money,” he added.
But of course, he will honour the contract. Only then does he plan to deal with his future. “I haven’t had to think so much about leaving yet, but the time has come when I need to start,” he concluded.
Now the EURO awaits him, with the aim of winning a medal with Belgium. She will face Slovakia first in the group stage, followed by Romania and Ukraine.
