Swayman kept a clean sheet

In the Boston Bruins vs. New Jersey Devils (3: 0) game at TD Garden, Jeremy Swaymen stopped all 31 of his opponent’s shots and recorded his third clean sheet of the season. Captain Brad Marchand scored two assists for the Bruins.

David Pastrnak passed for the first goal of the game and scored the second himself. Breaking the wait for another goal and becoming the fourth player of the season to break the 60-point mark. He is currently third with 61 points on 26 goals and 35 assists. He is 11 points behind scoring leader Kucherov of Tampa Bay.

Jeremy Swayman has picked up his 12th overall clean sheet for Boston and is tied for third in club statistics with Tiny Thompson in zeros picked by his 25th birthday. The record holder is Frank Brimsek with 22 clean accounts.

Fleury has already surpassed Patrick Roy

In the game Minnesota Wild vs. New York Islanders (5: 0) the catching legend Marc André – Fleury got his 552nd win in the regular season. He leapfrogged Patrick Roy (551) into second place on the history charts. Only the legendary Martin Brodeur (691) is ahead of him.

He also finished with a clean sheet after defending all 21 of the Islanders’ shot attempts. The No. 1 pick in the 2003 NHL Entry Draft by the Pittsburgh Penguins. He spent a full 13 seasons with the Pennsylvania team and won a total of three Stanley Cups in 2009, 2016 and 2017.

Fleury has a career regular season record to date of 552-324-92 with a 2.52 goals against average and a 91.2-percent hitting percentage. It marks his first zero save of the season and the 74th of his career overall. He started a total of 1,007 games, including 978 starts. He split that total between four teams – the Pittsburgh Penguins, Vegas Golden Knights, Chicago Blackhawks and Minnesota Wild.

His 74th clean sheet in the regular season is the 12th highest in the NHL’s historical charts. Only two separate him from other legends, namely American goaltender Ed Belfour and Canadian Tony Esposito.
