Point guard Jalen Brunson shined in the Knicks’ 50-point road win, making all nine of his three-point attempts. Joel Embiid broke the 76ers club record held by legend Wilt Chamberlain, and Stephen Curry set his own record.

Jalen Brunson had the night of his life

In the Phoenix Suns vs. New York Knicks (122:139) game, 27-year-old Knicks player Jalen Brunson shined as he led the Suns with 50 points. He didn’t miss any of his nine three-point baskets. He became only the second player in NBA history, after Kyrie Irving, to break the 50-point mark in three-point shooting. In addition, he also recorded 6 rebounds and 9 assists.

Of course, he had the night of his life as he broke the 50-point mark for the first time in his career. He also recorded a great shooting percentage of 17/23 from the field, including a 100 percent shooting percentage in the second half of 12/12.

Embiid broke the 76ers club record

Joel Embiid had 35 points and 13 rebounds in the Philadelphia 76ers vs. Detroit Pistons (124:92). Last season’s MVP averaged 36.3 points and 12.1 rebounds, breaking Wilt Chamberlain’s club record.

In addition, he became the first player since the 1964-65 season with at least 675 points and 200 rebounds in the first 20 games of a season. The last time the famous Wilt Chamberlain did it was in the aforementioned season.

Stephen Curry set his own record

In the Golden State Warriors vs Brooklyn Nets (124:120) Curry scored 37 points in his team’s victory. But most importantly, he made 6 converted threes and got to the mark of 3,505 made 3-point shots.

No one else even reached 3,000 made threes. Curry has a few more seasons to go and he will surely keep adding to that record. Of the active players, James Harden is the closest to him in third place. He has made 2,800 three-pointers. In addition, his teammate Klay Thompson is already in 9th place on the historical charts.
