Greek NBA star Janis Adetokunbo literally broke the shooting chain. On his home court he literally “finished” the Indiana Pacers and slammed their basket with 64 points. It’s the best shooting performance of this NBA season so far! His teammate Damian Lillard jumped up the historical table of the best three-point shooters.

In the game Millwaukee Bucks vs Indiana Pacers (140:126), Greek star Adetokunbo contributed greatly to the victory of the home team by scoring 64 points himself. This is the best shooting record of the season so far and rewrote the Milwaukee Bucks club annals.

Adetokunbo improved his personal best from last season by a full 9 points. When he put 55 points in the Washington Wizards’ net. Legends like Oscar Robertson and Kareem Abdul – Jabbar played for Milwaukee, but even they couldn’t break the 60-point mark.

The Greek broke the club record of 57 points set by Macchael Redd in 2006. In the game against the Pacers, he did absolutely everything. He converted 20 of 28 shots from the field and added 24 of 32 free throws.

On top of that, he also had 14 rebounds, 4 steals, 3 assists and 1 block. He did all this in just 37 minutes on the floor. Moreover, he helped himself to this performance without a single three.

He did have three shot attempts, but he didn’t convert any of them. The pearl is that according to historical statistics, he became only the fifth player in NBA history to score 60 points with at least 70% shooting percentage from the field.

This feat was even accomplished four times by Wilt Chamberlain and once by Karl Malone and David Thompson and once by his current teammate Damian Lillard.

Lillard the fifth best three-point shooter in NBA history

Just a teammate of Adetokunbo, Damian Lillard scored 21 points in the game, but most notably with his second converted three in the third quarter, he recorded the 2,451st of his career, moving him into fifth place on the history charts ahead of Kyle Korver.
