Kulusevski’s last gasp stunner halts Manchester’s City title march in all-time classic

Goodness gracious me. What a game. Another classic between Tottenham Hotspur and Manchester City.

After looking like they would fall apart and break like glass under the weight of an onslaught of attacks from Pep’s gladiators, Ange’s Spurs have shown the world that they refuse to be anyone but themselves. A team that will play front-foot football no matter what.

After 31-year old flyer Son Heung-min’s stunning opener in the 6th minute, he somehow scored in his own net a mere 3 minutes later. What a start and it did not slow down at all.

With Ben Foden is dazzling form, he scored a terrific goal that had his manager celebrating wildly as fans surely though it will be a 3 point kind of day.

Showing his new-found form in the middle of the park, Argentina midfielder Gio Lo Celso brought Spurs back in the game with a stunner that brought his team together after the half time break. It was a brilliant effort and was helped by a silky Son assist.

Frustrated with his benching, English winger Jack Grealish was soon on the goalsheet with a clever finish. He celebrated like his team had won the title and this surely fueled Tottenham on to silence the home crowd. It worked.

Enter Dejan Kulusevski. He had other ideas. His left foot beauty in injury time crushed City’s hearts and had Spurs fans in absolute euphoria.

Maybe this really is a different Spurs after all. If they can get their 1st choice centre backs in the lineup soon, perhaps a top 4 place is possible again after a rough few weeks.
