Girona’s great start did not go unnoticed. Bayern are interested in their star Tsygankov
Girona entered this season of La Liga well above expectations. After nine rounds, it is breathing down the back of first-placed Real Madrid, only two points behind them. Like last season, the Catalan side is playing an attacking game. This is what coach Michel prescribes for the team, which benefits its offensive aces.

Like last season, the Catalan side is playing an attacking game. This is what coach Michel prescribes for the team, which benefits its offensive aces.
The great start to the league brings with it the flip side of the coin, as Girona’s sporting department will now have to deal with the potential exodus of key players to more prestigious addresses.
One of the team’s brightest stars is Ukrainian offensive midfielder Viktor Tsygankov. He is being watched closely by Bayern Munich. The information came from Bild, whereupon the German newspaper reports that coach Thomas Tuchel is particularly interested in the player.
The 25-year-old playmaker arrived at the Spanish club during the January transfer window from Dynamo Kiev and immediately settled into the starting line-up.
In 27 games he managed to score 4 goals and set up 7 more. Girona paid just €5 million for one of the best players in the Ukrainian league at the time.
Nevertheless, Dynamo are expected to earn an additional 50 percent of the amount on a future transfer, which will exceed the aforementioned €5 million.
Girona value their gem at €30 million, which might not be an insurmountable obstacle for Bayern. The offensive versatility of this player could be an alternative to Leroy Sané in particular, on whose performance Bayern have become almost dependent.
Will Tsygankov continue the career of Anatoly Tymoschuk at Bayern? We could find out the answer as early as January.
