VIDEO: Vitinha and Hakimi’s awesome combination takes the breath away and Dortmund’s hopes of a good result

Borussia Dortmund went to Paris as an underdog, which was confirmed from the first minute, when PSG players were very active in trying to conquer the opponent’s goal, and they were rewarded for their activity. However, they had to wait until the second half to score.
PSG entered the match very actively and tried to score the first goal right from the start, which was almost managed by Vitinho, who only hit the post.
However, despite almost 78% of the ball possession, the home team couldn’t overcome the Borussia defence and the players went into the booths goalless. Compared to the weekend, however, coach Luis Enrique could definitely be satisfied at least with the defence, which was very compact and kept out the few attempts of the opponent.
It was the start of the second half that got off to an unlucky start for Dortmund, as Kylian Mbappé converted a penalty kick after a handball in the whitewash, scoring his 8th goal of the season.
PSG remained active and were able to celebrate for a second time as a result. A great combination with Vitinha was finished off with a neat finish by Hakimi to make it 2-0.
Both Vitinha and Hakimi confirmed their excellent form in the current season, as both are among the highest rated players in the Parisian team.
Vitinha showed himself in a great light in the opening game of the new Champions League season, being very active and trying to come up with actions that would help his teammates to score a goal, which he did at least once in the aforementioned collaboration with the Moroccan speedster.
Overall then, the central trio of Vitinha (23 years old) – Ugarte (22 years old) – Zaire-Emery (17 years old) looks very strong. And considering the fact that these are still very young players, PSG have a very promising midfield.
