The still available Sergio Ramos could stay in Europe. A Champions League side is interested

It’s been more than two months since Sergio Ramos quit PSG. He didn’t renew his contract in Paris and has been a free agent ever since. Despite several offers, he is still without a team, but now he could be close to a new engagement.

However, age cannot be stopped and the 37-year-old defender is unlikely to get any more engagements with the European giants. He waited all summer to see if an offer would land, but it didn’t.

Ramos has been heavily linked with Sevilla, but the management has categorically rejected the move because the club is not in good financial shape.

However, if the Turkish engagement does not work out, Ramos does not have to worry about suitors. They would love to see him somewhere other than Arabia. Al-Ittihad is offering a king’s salary, plus he would meet former Real Madrid teammate Karim Benzema at the club.

Although Ramos struggled with injuries in his first year at PSG and only managed 12 games, he excelled in his second, putting in great performances. This is why he doesn’t want to leave Europe just yet and wants to stay among the elite.
