Inter snap up Bayern star! French international moves to Milan, how much will the Nerazzurri pay?

Benjamin Pavard is expected to wear the black and blue jersey soon and become the new signing of Inter Milan. The Nerazzurri are ready to send 30 million euros for him to Munich, now the French international is waiting for a medical examination and of course signing a contract.

Pavard is still under contract at Bayern for one more year, however, he has been linked with a move elsewhere since the start of the summer transfer window. Naturally, several clubs have expressed interest in his services, including Inter.

The Milan giant has already sent an official offer of €30 million to Munich a few days ago. And although the Bavarian outfit didn’t reject it, it was expected to consider a bigger sum for Pavard.

In the end, however, this is not the case. According to earlier reports, Bayern would reportedly settle for between thirty-five and forty million euros.

However, as per the latest reports in the Italian media, Pavard is expected to head to Inter for the aforementioned price tag.

Another two to three million is then in play in bonuses. And as already reported by renowned journalist Fabrizio Romano, Pavard is now waiting for the green light from his current employer to travel to Milan.

Inter are planning a medical on Wednesday or Thursday, but in Pavard’s case it should be a mere formality. There is virtually nothing preventing his transfer to the San Siro. As far as the upcoming contract is concerned, no more specific information has been provided by Inter.

Four titles, a Champions League victory…

Pavard moved to Bayern in July 2019, when the Bavarian big club bought him from Stuttgart for 35 million euros. During that time, Pavard played 163 competitive games for Bayern and won just about everything he could.

Four Bundesliga titles, a Champions League championship, a DFB-Pokal or UEFA Super Cup winner and a UEFA Club World Cup winner, that’s a very solid calling card indeed.
