Loyalty pays. Kylian Mbappé will receive a €40 million bonus from PSG. He can receive the same amount again within the next month
It sounds like an irony of fate, but Kylian Mbappé will receive a €40 million loyalty bonus from his current employer. He can still receive the same amount at the end of August.

Kylian Mbappé’s future is one of the biggest transfer sagas of the past and current summer transfer window.
During the last one, probably nobody counted on the French striker heading anywhere else than Real Madrid.
As early as January 2022, everything seemed a sure thing. Playing for the white ballet has been Mbappé’s dream since childhood. What’s more, his contract in France was coming to an end and there was nothing to prevent a possible transfer. But the French champion did not want to give up his idol.
Every day a different piece of information. One day a transfer to Real Madrid was already certain and the following hours the original information was refuted with the words that Kylian Mbappé was closer to staying at PSG. Everything was only put to rest when a new contract was signed.
The Frenchman came up with some hard to believe money, which included signing bonuses and future loyalty bonuses.
Before the start of pre-season training, Kylian Mbappé told his management that he does not plan to renew his contract with the club after the end of the 2023/24 season. This means one thing. A possible departure completely for free, and the management of the French champion cannot afford that.
The striker has currently been left out of the squad for the Japanese preparatory tour and is training separately with a group of players the club is not counting on. There are two ways out of this situation. “Extend or leave,” is the clear message from the management.
It is a real irony of fate that Kylian Mbappé should now receive the first part of his €40 million loyalty bonus. This should be followed by the second part, which, if he stays, the French club will have to pay at the end of August, and here too the sum of 40 million euros is involved.
In case the French footballer decides to fulfil his contract and stays with the team, PSG is ready to put him in the stands for the whole season. In France, they are convinced that Mbappé has already agreed terms with Real Madrid, who would bring him for free next year.
