Al-Nassr is back in the transfer market after a brief hiatus, completing the transfer of two new faces. One of them is Cristiano Ronaldo’s former Manchester United teammate.
The Arab club, who were one of the first to make a big play in the transfer market back in January, are now on the lookout for more reinforcements.
The first footballer Al-Nassr reinforced was Croatian Marcel Brozovic. The 30-year-old midfielder arrived for around €18 million from Inter Milan.
For a while, it seemed that he would be the only new face to arrive at the club this summer. FIFA has banned the club from registering any more players following an outstanding debt to Leicester City regarding Ahmed Musa.
The penalty has now been lifted and Ronaldo and his teammates can now look forward to the arrival of more reinforcements. Seko Fofana should be the first such signing.
The 28-year-old midfielder and captain of French side Lens is expected to cost around €30 million. His transfer should be completed in the next few days. And he is not the only one.
As it seems, Al-Nassr is also finalising the arrival of Alex Telles from Manchester United, with whom they have already reached a verbal agreement.
The Brazilian central defender was Cristiano Ronaldo’s teammate just from their time together in Manchester during the 2021/2022 season.
Alex Telles arrived in England from Porto as a key player in the Portuguese side’s line-up. However, he failed to build on his performances and spent the last year on loan at Sevilla, with whom he won the Europa League trophy.
