Crazy footage from the UFC! Fans want a ban for the referee. The Ukrainian couldn’t defend himself anymore, his opponent hit him with a few more hard elbows

The UFC had an unnumbered gala in Las Vegas this weekend. It featured, for example, Tereza Bledá, who scored her first win among the world’s top fighters. But unfortunately, we also witnessed one scary moment.

Ukrainian fighter Denys Bondar is a big underdog. Ever since he signed with the world’s biggest MMA organization, it’s as if his luck has turned its back on him. It was confirmed at the latest UFC tournament.

It’s worth noting that the first three fights the now 30-year-old fighter had arranged with the UFC didn’t take place. Twice Bondar himself withdrew, once his fight with Malcolm Gordon was postponed.

He did, however, fight Gordon in February 2022 and it didn’t turn out well for him. He badly broke his hand in the fight, ending his streak of eight straight wins.

Healing took some time, and only now, on June 18, 2023, has he returned to the cage again. This time he was checked out by Carlos Hernandez. He was better in the duel, but the end came a few seconds before the end in a very unpleasant way.

Hernandez attempted a takedown and was knocked down by a clash of heads. While the American was constantly on the alert, the Ukrainian was off. Still, Hernandez dealt the defenseless Bondar a few more hard elbow shots to the chin.

The referee took a long time to react and prevented more punches from being added. Footage of the whole incident has been making the rounds on social media, with fans angry and wanting the referee banned from continuing to work in the business.

As for the outcome of the fight, Hernandez won it after a technical decision. Since the whole incident took place at the end of the third round, the fight was scored.
