Video: Samba! Rodrygo and Ceballos dance through the defense to score
If there is talk of Real Madrid’s current crisis, one Los Blancos player is probably enjoying football the most in his career right now. Dani Ceballos, even with the decline in form of others, got his chance and grabbed it by the scruff of the neck, that’s how he and Rodryg wrecked the Al Ahly defence yesterday.

Real Madrid are currently in Morocco for the Club World Cup. The European club is obliged to win virtually every time at this event, the other teams don’t have that quality.
In the semi-finals, the Champions League winners were challenged by Egyptian side Al Ahly, who have not lost this season. Real Madrid, however, were more than a match for them.
Vinícius scored just before the end of the first half and Fede Valverde added a second goal just after the break. Although Al Ahly reduced the deficit in the 65th minute after a penalty, Real did not let up.
Luka Modric had a chance to decide the game in the 87th minute, but threw away the penalty offered. Rodrygo had to add the insurance in the 92nd minute, enjoying a partnership with Dani Ceballos.
The Spanish midfielder headed the ball into the middle from the left wing and crossed to Rodrygo in the whitewash. The Brazilian youngster returned it to his partner with his heel, Ceballos nudged the ball and also returned it with his heel to Rodrygo, who lobbed it over the already lying goalkeeper.
In the 98th minute, substitute youngster Sergio Arribas added a fourth goal. Real Madrid thus advanced to the final of the Club World Cup, where they will play Al Hilal.
Al Ahly will face Brazilian Flamengo, who surprisingly crashed out in the semi-finals, for third place.
