Like a bolt from the blue, information about a new signing for Tottenham Hotspur has emerged. The Dutch striker was already a member of Everton’s rescue team. He will haveto look elsewhere.

Everton are not having the best of times. A few days ago, Frank Lampard was sacked as head coach. Moreover, the Liverpool club is in the penultimate position in the table, two points behind the places guaranteeing salvation in the top flight.

The Toffees, as the club is nicknamed, need to find the right coach to help save them. Logically, the club will look around for reinforcements and they have identified one. It was Dutch striker Arnaut Danjuma.

Transfer to Tottenham

“Another crazy story of the January transfer window,” the respected journalist Fabrizio Romano called the saga on his accounts.

Everton have reached a verbal agreement with the footballer, medical examinations have been carried out and all the documents needed for registration have been prepared. However, Tottenham have joined those interested in Danjuma, offering the same terms as Everton. That is, a loan until the end of the season with the payment of the player’s full wages.

Despite the fact that Danjuma had already had his medical, he finally decided to sign for the London club. The contract is expected to be signed within today.

Tottenham are not having the best of times either. The club is struggling in the game and the question of Conte’s future hangs in the air. He does not have the best relations with the club’s management because they do not share his transfer ambitions.

He’s not afraid to share his frustration in the media, which of course the management doesn’t like. The current contract of the Italian strategist expires at the end of the current season.

For Tottenham, this might not be the last reinforcement of this transfer window. They are also very interested in Sporting Lisbon right-back Pedro Porro. The Portuguese club are demanding the full £45m exit clause, which Spurs have so far refused to pay.
