David Dvorak lost to former Rizin champion Manel Kape for the second straight time in the UFC. The latter injured his hand in the first round, and Dvorak has now described how he is medically.
Manel Kape won the fight for the top ten UFC flyweight title, beating Czech fighter David Dvorak on points. The latter endured a painful arm bar at the end of the first round, which then limited him for the rest of the fight.
Kape put a kimura on Dvorak, and he held on in pain for a really long time, although fans were worried that his arm simply wouldn’t hold up.
Eventually it held and Dvorak was even able to continue the fight, but it was certain that he was not well and the night after the fight would not be much associated with sleep.
Fans were waiting to hear how Dvorak would be. Now, in an interview with Kaocko.cz, he confirmed that he has no good news.
“I’m waiting for an MRI, then I’ll know more. But my arm is not working. I think the shoulder will be fine, but there will be something in the elbow.
I can feel my shoulder, but my elbow hurts a lot, I don’t know if I broke a bone there. From the elbow down, the arm is dead,” he said in an interview.
Now he has to recover and he will have to have a good rest before the next game. Let’s hope that he can get a little bit lucky and get back on a winning streak.
