A great success for Austrian golf! The PGA Tour has its first Austrian winner. It was Sepp Straka, who managed to dominate the Honda Classic.

At first, there were no signs of this great success. Although Sepp Straka shot well in the tournament, Daniel Berger was in the lead at the beginning of the final round with a luxurious lead.

Berger boasted a score of -11 and a provisional first place by a comfortable five shots. However, what had been a fairly straightforward affair became a drama in a matter of moments with a surprise winner.

Berger completely mishandled the next few holes and his lead quickly disappeared. He was replaced in the lead by Shane Lowry by two shots.

Lowry didn’t burn out on the next holes, but Sepp Straka made some amazing shots. Straka birdied the last three holes and with a score of -10, he waited to see if Lowry could match him.

Unfortunately for Lowry, a cloudburst started on the last two holes and affected his shots. In the heavy rain, Lowry was unable to match Straka’s score and the winner was decided.

The PGA Tour has a brand new champion. He is Sepp Straka, who is also the first Austrian to dominate a PGA Tour event. This is a great success for Austrian golf.
