Star Márquez’s comeback delayed, injury means he won’t start the next race in Valencia

According to the latest reports, Marco Márquez’s injury will keep him out of the next European GP race in Valencia. The Spanish circuit has lost its biggest star who was supposed to start the race.

Marc Márquez was injured in July during a race at the Lakes. After a heavy crash, he broke his right arm and had to undergo immediate surgery, during which the broken bone was fixed with a plate.

However, it didn’t last long. Márquez did return to the racetrack shortly after the operation, but the plate fixing the broken bone was damaged. The Spanish rider soon had to undergo a second operation.

It was a success and the Repsol Honda team secretly hoped that its biggest star would return to the circuits during October. But unfortunately, that was not to be.

The team and the rider decided not to rush his return, unlike the first attempt, and to let Márquez back on track when he feels completely fit. By agreement, Márquez will not even start the next round in Valencia.

Instead of Márquez, Stefan Bradl will ride again, who, among other things, has said he will finish the season behind Márquez. However, no one from the Repsol Honda management has officially confirmed this.
