Mojmír Chytil made history in Czech football. The young striker of Olomouc Sigma got his first chance in Olomouc against Faroe Islands and he made the most of it.
The Czech striker scored a hat-trick on his debut, all in the 23rd minute and even in the space of ten minutes. He is thus the fastest hat-trick of the national team.
However, his goals were not easy. For the first one he worked the ball perfectly and then gave the goalkeeper no chance, with a heavy header he completed his historical record.
“I am very happy, I was lucky in the finishing today. I thought that I would always remember the first league goal here against Sparta, but this overcame everything. After the third goal I was a bit more emotional, it’s beautiful,” said Chytil at the press conference.
It must have been hard for him to sleep after such a game. Chytil will now spend a few days answering all the messages that will come from all sides.
In addition, he will have to pay a hefty registration fee, as is customary. But Chytil himself said with a smile that the amount would probably be so large that he would have to borrow.
“I will probably have to borrow, we will see. And I haven’t looked at the phone properly yet, but I’m curious how much there will be,” he added.
However, the amount of money should not be a problem in the future. There is speculation about his winter transfer, with Prague Slavia being the favourite over Ladislav Almasi.
