An important game awaited the Red Devils on Thursday night. If they wanted to finish first in their Europa League group, they had to beat rival Real Sociedad by two goals. But that was not to be.

Understandably, this is annoying through the fact that Manchester United can now look forward to a tougher draw. But the fact is that a big club of this calibre should have no problem.

The English side only won 1: 0 and the whole game was played by Cristiano Ronaldo, who scored an assist. However, if he had seen what was going on before the game itself, and he was in his prime, he would certainly have been keen to get his revenge.

The mascot of the Basque team took credit for his legendary goal celebration known as ‘Siu’. In front of a stand packed with home fans, he did a great impression of it with the full support of the fans.
