Attila Végh founded a new MMA organization. The organization cooperates with Oktagon, so it was no surprise that several stars of the biggest Czechoslovak organization appeared at the first tournament. However, one of them surprisingly fell and suffered a nasty injury.

FABRIQ MMA is a new organization on the domestic scene. It was founded by Attila Végh and its first tournament took place on Saturday. It featured several very well-known names.

The gala evening, however, started with amateur fights. However, it was mainly the last fights where Roman Paulus, Gábor Boráros and Karol Ryšavý went into action. And especially Rysavy was one of the biggest favorites on the whole card, but he didn’t confirm the role.

But he didn’t have it easy. He changed his opponent four times, Vladimir Lengal, who we can also know from the Octagon, accepted the fight three days before it took place. So he took a very tough challenge and used it perfectly to increase his visibility.

He beat Rysavy. It all started with a great spinning elbow. The Slovakian fighter tried to continue the fight, but Moravian didn’t let him get away with his pressure and Rysavy himself felt that something was wrong. So after two minutes he asked for the fight to end.

Lengal wants to go for the title, Rysavy is going to take a break

Vladimir Lengal is an experienced and excellent standup fighter. That’s also why Karol Rysavy was expected to try and take the fight to the ground. But before he could, his mistakes in his stance were punished. “Karol kept going to the left side, falling down the front hand, so I punished him with an elbow,” he let it be heard after the win.

Understandably aware that the Slovakian was the Octagon’s number three lightweight. “I don’t know what’s more. I want the title and I’m going to go for it. I’m staying in MMA. But now I turned down the O2 arena and preferred to defend the title I hold in pro boxing. I’m going to fulfill that and we’re going to MMA,” he added.

Rysavy has much more pleasant worries ahead of him. The way he gave up the fight already suggested something was wrong. It looked like a broken jaw and that’s exactly what his coach and promoter Attila Végh confirmed.

Lengal himself suffered the same injury during the OKTAGON Challenge. “It’s a combat sport. I’m not bothered at all that Karol lost, that’s what MMA is about. But what happened is probably the worst possible injury for a fighter,” Sportnet.sme.sk quotes him as saying.

It’s hard to guess how long a break the Slovak star will now have. Lengal missed a year due to the same injury. It all depends on how serious it is and how the treatment will develop.
