VIDEO: Musa, unwanted by Slavia, scored for Benfica for the third time in a row, Ristic, unused by Sparta, scored with a great shot, Bah was also in the line-up
All roads from Prague lead to Portugal, one would like to say. Whether directly or indirectly. At least this is true for the three men who used to work for Sparta or Slavia. Two of them scored on Sunday.

The Portuguese league is having a great year. In the Champions League, two teams have advanced to the spring round. One of them is the famous Benfica, which, among other things, is leading the Portuguese competition with ease.
On Sunday, it registered three more points and after twelve rounds has 34 points, having not lost once and only drawn once. A lead of 8 points is more than beautiful. And the players who will be remembered well by the fans of Czech football have their share in it.
Probably the biggest star of our league was Alexander Bah, who left Slavia Prague for Lisbon only in the summer. He did not have it easy at first, as he faced a lot of competition. However, he is slowly carving out a place in the sun and was not absent from Sunday’s win, even though he did not make the stats.
Musa and Ristic have it harder, but now they scored
It’s a slightly different situation for another ex-Slav Petar Musa. He was not wanted in Eden. It was known that he had huge potential, but Jindřich Trpišovský couldn’t use it. That’s why he went to Boavista, where he shone and claimed the interest of Benfica.
But he doesn’t seem to be playing there as well as he would like. His workload is really low, but the Croatian striker has had a good run in the last three games, scoring in all of them. He scored in the league for the second game in a row, and in the Champions League against Maccabi Haifa this week.
Now he took advantage of a teammate planting a beautiful centre on his head, which he only needed to head between the three posts. And it worked.
On the other side of the Vltava River, Mihailo Ristic made a difference. Maybe his name doesn’t mean anything to you, but you should know that this Serbian international didn’t even get a chance at Sparta Prague, although he could have been an interesting addition.
Ristic spent a year at Letná, played only a few minutes, and left again. And to a prestigious address, when he was acquired by French Montpellier. There he won a place in the squad and moved to Portugal in the summer. Here too, he must now fight to be in the squad at all.
But he made his case clear with a mid-range bomb from Sunday that ended up in the net.
