She is a former UFC champion, one of the best fighters of today and one of the biggest stars of the organization. But now Rose Namajunas has made her debut in a different environment. She tried her hand at modeling for the legendary Victoria’s Secret brand.
Rose Namajunas has made a name for herself as an excellent fighter, but now she is also determined to gain new experience. She posed for an ad campaign for the famous lingerie brand Victoria’s Secret.
The American warrior has become one of the models in the campaign called “Undefinable”. The famous brand has faced criticism in recent years for its lack of inclusivity and lack of diversity in its model line-up, and its preference for a “beauty model”.
In addition to the former UFC champion, other female athletes or celebrities are also involved in this campaign. And it’s worth noting that the name of the campaign perfectly describes the fighter herself, who is really hard to define.
After all, her earlier statements are telling. “When I got into the UFC, I felt the expectation that I would be beautiful so people would pay attention to me. That’s why I shaved my hair and made them notice me,” the 30-year-old women’s MMA star let slip.
Slowly, though, she’ll have to focus on the fight. After being stripped of her title by Carla Esparza, she’d like to win the belt back. Plus, she already has a few other challenges.
The last person to ask for a fight with Namajunas was Yan Xiaonan. However, the American has not responded to her challenge so far.
