One of the world’s most famous journalists Ariel Helwani praises the biggest domestic MMA organization Oktagon in an interview with the new acquisition of Oktagon John Hathaway.

Octagon brings in star UFC fighter

As we recently informed you, the leading organization on the domestic fight scene, Oktagon MMA, has signed a world-class fighter. The British John Hathaway (17-2) was at one time successful in the overseas UFC.

In the world’s top league, he appeared in nine fights, seven of which he managed to win. Hathaway was supposed to be a rising star in the UFC, however his last loss to Dong Hyun Kim was his last fight for a long time.

The fight with Korean Kim took place in 2014 and we haven’t seen him in the cage since due to a long-term illness. Now he has signed with the Octagon and is back in the fight game. Fans will see him in two weeks at Oktagon 36 in Frankfurt.

The Czechoslovakian organization has also been praised by world-renowned journalist Ariel Helwani

World renowned journalist Ariel Helwani invited the new acquisition of Oktagon to his podcast to interview him after a long hiatus. In his interview with Hathaway, he also mentioned his time with the Czechoslovakian organization, which he unexpectedly praised and promoted.

“There’s been a report in the media that you’re coming back to Frankfurt, Germany on Oct. 15 in the Oktagon MMA organization,” Helwani said on The MMA Hour. “It’s an organization that does amazing tournaments, continues to grow and has a huge fan base all over Europe,” he praised Oktagon.

“Yes, I’m super happy to have signed with them,” Hathaway quipped. “Just look at the October Oktagon card in Frankfurt, it’s full of the elite fighters in Europe,” the fighter praised Oktagon’s upcoming tournament at Frankfurt’s Festhalle.

“I am very happy for you that you are coming back to this organization,” Helwani wished the fighter a successful return to the cage after eight and a half years. After the interview, he did not hesitate to promote Oktagon and their return to Germany.

“John Hathaway is back and fighting in Oktagon, make sure you find that organization, it’s spelled with a K,” he enticed fans to watch the local tournaments.

Oktagon’s expansion into Germany has put them in the global media spotlight. Signing fighters like John Hathaway is sure to bring the organization more new fans from all corners of the world.
