West Ham entered the match against Wolves actively. Already in the 17th minute Scamacca found himself in the penalty area and after a rebound he had a great chance to score. Unfortunately for the fans at the London Stadium, he shot over the bar.
The Italian striker got his chance a few minutes later. In the 29th minute, he got a shot off from outside the box and ripped a beautiful shot into the net. It was his first Premier League goal.
West Ham did not falter in the match and did not concede the lead. On the other hand, Bowen scored in the second half and the result was decided. West Ham defeated Wolves 2-0 at home to claim three points for their second win of the season.
Czech representatives were also present in the match. While Soucek played the whole game alongside Rice, Coufal spent the game ready on the substitutes’ bench. He was replaced at right-back by German Kehrer.
After the match, the hero of the match received the Player of the Match award. The award was presented to him by his teammate Bowen. The Italian striker then entertained the fans with an interview with a reporter.
“I’m happy, I hope I get a higher rating in the FIFA game,” laughed Scamacca. “No, we won today, and that’s what’s important,” added the Czech teammate on the 2-0 scoreline.
Will the newcomer in the “Kladivar ” jersey also hit the European Conference League in the next match against Anderlecht?
