We know what’s at stake and advancing to the European Championships would be a huge success and a dream come true for us, Jurásek said
The Lions have a hugely important doubleheader ahead of them. They are playing the EURO barrage, with only Iceland standing in their way. The team is loaded, also because of the importance of the double match is in it David Jurásek, who would otherwise quite possibly go for the first time with the A team. What did he say at the press conference?
The Lions have a hugely important doubleheader ahead of them. They are playing the EURO barrage, with only Iceland standing in their way. The team is loaded, also because of the importance of the double match is David Jurásek, who would otherwise quite possibly go for the first time with the A team. What did he say at the press conference?
David Jurásek’s career has taken off. Last summer he transferred from Zbrojovka Brno to Mladá Boleslav and already in the winter he was on training in Slavia.
He gradually started to make his way there and now he is not far away from being nominated to the A-team of the national team. Why hasn’t it come now? The only reason is probably that the barrage for the EURO 11 is simply more important.
“We are all here to pursue one goal. We know what’s at stake and qualifying for the European Championships would be a huge achievement and a dream come true for us. You can only play Euro 21s maybe once in your career, that’s why it’s such a motivation,” Jurásek said at the press conference.
Even though he plays left back, he tends to be quite productive for his club. And that doesn’t just refer to assists, but also goals. The goal in Ballkani’s net was credited as his own, but at the beginning of the season he scored twice in Zlín’s net.
“Offensive numbers are more of a bonus for me. I always try to play in such a way that the team benefits as much as possible and I have something to offer them. That’s always the first priority for me.
I’m always trying to work at 100 percent, give everything in every practice and keep improving. I know I have a lot to improve defensively, especially when I play on the edge of the defense,” he added.
The first game against Iceland is on Friday in Reykjavik, the rematch is scheduled for 27 September in České Budějovice.
